Roket3D is the first game development suite of it's kind. Roket3D uses a scripting language (Lua) in which you write your games. Lua is a light-weight fast scripting language, and can also be compiled to bytecode. Running on Irrlicht and Newton Physics, the engine itself is cross-platform, spanning Windows, Mac and Linux and console support is planned for the future. With Roket3D, you don't have to rewrite your code to run on different platforms.

Roket3D currently supports the Windows platform only, though Linux support is expected to be released in the next few days. Mac support will follow in the next few months as well as iPhone support.
